HDEAA ELECTIONS 2024
Per Bylaw 4.1: The President shall report to the membership via the HDEAA website the number of eligible Executive Committee positions, to be elected at the Annual General Meeting, fourteen (14) business days prior to April 20th.
For the 2024 HDEAA Election, the following full-term position is eligible for nomination and election:
Director – 1 to be elected
· 2 year term, August 1, 2024 – July 31, 2026

ELIGIBILITY PER CONSTITUTION & BYLAWS
Bylaw 4.2: To qualify as a nominee, for any eligible Executive Committee position, the candidate must be a Seniority Permanent member in good standing of the Halton District Educational Assistants Association. (Casual/Supply members are not eligible for an Executive Committee position).
This notification serves as the start of the nomination process. The nomination package and all relevant materials can be found at www.hdeaa.com
Nominations will close at 4:30 pm, April 22nd, 2024. Information about the verified candidates will be posted to members April 23rd, 2024.
A virtual Meet the Candidates meeting is scheduled for Thursday, April 30th, 2024@ 5:00 – 6:45 pm.
Online voting will take place April 30, 2024 @ 7:00 pm to May 6, 2024 @4:30 pm.
ALL members in good standing – permanent and casual – may cast a vote.
